Senior Art Exhibition/Portfolio

Hello all,

I was able to take some nice pictures of the exhibition and the finished works while they were on display. Instead of uploading all of the images on here again, I am instead going to provide a link to my Facebook page for you to visit.
The entire portfolio can be seen in the album titled Senior Exhibition  A Sensory Trip to India - 2014. And you can also view other detailed images along with in progress snapshots of the entire portfolio in an album titled In Progress - Senior Exhibition.

I hope you are able to visit (and maybe even like?) the page to see not just my portfolio but all of the art work I have done. I am going to be uploading previous works (including sketches) on there along with any new works that I create in the future.

Craft Update #6

Hello dear reader!

I am here to give you a quick update, because I am too excited to wait for more information to write on. I am taking a class on the art of West Africa and it sounds amazing so far! Today we got started on a loom....so yes we get to weave!!! Along with many other projects (like mask making and basket weaving) this class is going to be just absolutely fun! I am going to upload pictures of the projects as I make them. Here is a picture of what I was able to get done for the class today... we start the actual weaving on Thursday.

Tonight I plan to work on getting the henna (mehndi) design on my Diwali table penciled in as much as I can. I should have enough things gathered/done to do a better post by the end of the week.
P.S.... I noticed that at the start of this blog I wrote a post on what this blog was about. I am not going to edit or delete that post just for history purposes but...but but but... I am going to write a new post that gives a better explanation for what this blog is about.

What I really was doing all this time....

yea ok so...to get back on track....
so what new media have I explored since I last posted here?.... plenty of it!!!!!

Oil paint, charcoal, and crafts!!!!!! so sewing some plushies and stuff.

I'm guessing you all want to see them? =)

Guitar Plushie

Not the first thing I made using felt (I'll post that too). So a guitar plushie that I made after I watched a tutorial on it (can't remember which one it was atm)....

And I should have taken pictures of it from other angles too huh?... I'll do that next time.

Bunnies!!!!!!!!!
Cute little bunnies (no more than 1.5 inches tall) made of felt!
And guess what? They are Lollipop holders! As you can see on the back of the orange one there are two strings to put a lollipop through...pretty easy to make simple lollipops as cute gifts.

All right....so at the top we have a really crappy looking yellow monkey... that was my first attempt to make anything out of felt.
And I know I made anther monkey afterwards but I never took pictures of it before I gave it away. Oopsies.... anyways....I ended up making three of those bunnies and giving away two. I'm saving one to add to another bigger project that I'll post when I get around to finishing it.

The yellow square is also a surprise I'm making for someone....it's one part of another bigger project that I'll post as soon as I get around to using the sewing machine. >w<

And I think that's all I'm gonna post for today...that's 3 posts all in one day...

Free cute goodies ♥

♥ Suteki Ji: Wut iz dat???

Hey peeps! Long time no see!

Finally back again this time with all the social networks set up and ready to go! So expect more posts about all sorts of stuff somehow related to art!

What in the world is a Suteki Ji you ask? I'll tell you!

First of all I wanted to link the home page of Sutekorp, Inc

Suteki Ji is a brand named after the first character created by Sutekorp, Inc. 

Created on October 23rd of 2012, it's a new company that was launched just last month. There is a special story on the creation of the characters on their website on "the story" page! ♥ so make sure you check it out and look at the original sketches.

Sutekorp is an individual company and is an online business. Currently they ship their products from USA...and their main goal as of now is not to sell the product but to entertain and get fans! ♥

The goals are to release memes for amusement for now and release comic book pages bi-weekly. Also a flash game on the website and mobile games are being created as you read this with a new website for just the brand being created with cute animations! All of the characters will have details descriptions/bios on the brand website.

Different giveaways are going to be hosted on different social networks. There is going to be a giveaway on youtube after they get 50 subbies and another one after 100 subbies!
There is going to be a giveaway for USA residents on facebook after the brand page gets 50 likes and an international giveaway after 100 likes....so what are you waiting for????
Go and spread the word about these cute characters! ♥
